Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, you play a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque New England Town. Over the course of their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy in order to save their community. The game is low-prep and easy to play no matter your experience with tabletop roleplaying games.

Hello!
Some quick updates on Brindlewood Bay...
Book Updates
The Brindlewood Bay book is about 75% complete in terms of layout; you should have that PDF very soon—probably sometime in mid-August.
We have received nearly all the drafts for Nephews in Peril and are in the middle of editing those. That book should be heading to layout some time in September.
BackerKit Surveys
BackerKit surveys will be sent in the next week or so. We have a special BackerKit exclusive add-on for you which we'll talk about more in a future update. Keep an eye out for those survey emails!
Other aspects of the project, including non-book stretch goals, are in various stages of development and completion. Digital rewards will be made available via your BackerKit account as they are completed, with final versions sent via DriveThruRPG.
That's all we've got for now. Things are moving along on schedule. We'll leave you with a glimpse of the nearly-complete town map (some of the locations and text will be changed in the final version).

The Kickstarter campaign is complete, and all stretch goals are unlocked! Thanks so much for helping us cross the finish line so successfully!
We have a surprise for backers coming in the next day or two, so be on the lookout for that update.
In the meantime, we're going to get some rest, haha. But we always like to leave you with something new, so here's a WIP portion of the town map!

24 hours to go...
– Mon, May 30, 2022 at 05:39:23 AM
Just a quick update tonight.
We have 24 hours remaining and a little over $16K to raise in order to unlock the final stretch goal, the Miniseries Campaign. If everyone tells just one friend about the game tomorrow, we should be able to hit the goal easily.
If you haven't done so already, join the Gauntlet Publishing Discord server. It's a very relaxed, friendly place, and there's always a lot of great discussion going on. Be there as we celebrate the end of the campaign!
As always, thanks so much for your support. See you on the other side!

The Final 48 hours!
– Mon, May 30, 2022 at 05:29:50 AM
With 48 hours to go in the Brindlewood Bay Kickstarter campaign, we have unlocked the Suspect Portraits stretch goal and have just one stretch goal remaining! If we can hit $450K before this campaign ends, we will create the Miniseries Campaign, a brand-new way to play Brindlewood Bay! It will be tough to hit that target in just two days, but we can do it!
Consider increasing your pledge. This is your last chance to get the Cookbook, plus we still have 25 Invitation spots available.
Tell people who you might not normally consider gamers about the campaign—the game's subject matter is usually a hit with folks who don't otherwise play TTRPGs.
If you're a retailer, send us a message on Kickstarter—let's get this game on your shelves!
Thanks so much for your support as we head into these final hours! This has been a very exciting campaign. We're going to leave you with a WIP picture of the town map, one of the first stretch goals we unlocked.
